Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic has compared himself with Inter Coach Andrea Stramaccioni as the two teams’ face-off this weekend.
The Biancocelesti host the San Siro side on Saturday, and the Bosnian tactician has admitted he has found a kindred spirit in his opposite number, as well as admitting his men can improve going into the New Year.
“Stramaccioni and I both had something to prove,” he told a Press conference. “Because he came from youth football and I came from abroad.
“Maybe there has been something missing this season, but I am pleased with the performance of my team so far.
“There is always room for improvement, whatever happens.”
He then commented on the players he has available for the match at Stadio Olimpico.
“Apart from the likes of Ederson and a few others, everyone is available for the match,” he said. “We had our last training session today and then tomorrow I will decide the starting line-up.”
