Feyenoord produced a memorable penalty shoot-out win over Heerenveen to reach the quarter-finals of the Dutch Cup while Vitesse Arnhem scored double figures as they progressed.
Ronald Koeman's Feyenoord defeated his fellow former Holland international Marco van Basten's Heerenveen 7-6 on penalties.
The game had finished 2-2 after extra time, with Jeffrey Gouweleeuw equalising Graziano Pelle's opener before Lex Immers' effort was also cancelled out by Filip Djuricic.
Vitesse Arnhem hammered third-tier amateurs ADO '20 Heemskerk 10-1, where the home side had five different scorers.
Arnhem thrashed Heemskerk thanks to doubles from Wilfried Bony, Nicky Hofs and Renato Ibarra.
Last season's runners-up, Heracles Almelo, had to come from behind to beat NAC Breda 3-1 while FC Zwolle defeated Go Ahead Eagles 3-2.
