Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has revealed club football is more important to him than playing for the France national team.
The 29-year-old starred in the German side's stunning 6-1 win over Lille in midweek, before netting in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Ribery remarked that he is thoroughly enjoying his time at the Allianz Arena, where he has been since moving from Marseille in 2007.
"I have been at Bayern for six years," the winger told Bild.
"Here, it is always good. Here I am happy and it's fun. It is more important to me than the national team."
Ribery has been called up to les Bleus squad to face Italy on Wednesday. Kick-off for the international friendly is at 20:50 CET.
