Inter forward Diego Milito has praised strike-partners Rodrigo Palacio and Antonio Cassano following their impressive start to the season.
The attacking triumvirate have scored 20 goals between them in all competitions so far, and the Argentine goal-scorer has commended the summer signings, admitting they have been a welcome addition to the team.
“Throughout my career I have always adapted to any partner,” he told Inter Channel. “Now I'm playing with Rodrigo and Antonio, and they have been a great advantage to us.
“They have helped me greatly and scored plenty of goals themselves. Playing alongside players like them makes it a lot easier for me – it's great.”
He then commented on the comparisons between the current Nerazzurri team and the treble-winning side of 2010.
“That squad is a vintage that will be hard to repeat,” he said. “But we are doing our best and always try to improve.”
