Darren Fletcher to train with Scotland this week

Manchester United midfielder will train with Scotland squad this week as he was named one of players to prepare for the friendly between Scotland and Austrlia.

Fletcher, 28, who has been at risk of retiring after suffering a serie of illness that kept him out of the pitch for a long time, will be given a chance to come back by Scotland manager Levein: “Darren will be with us at the weekend, he is back in training and he played 45 minutes in a practice match last week. He is not in the squad because he has not played for Manchester United but he will come back and do a bit of training with us.”

Darren Fletcher has been capped 58 times by his country, scoring 5 goals.
