Liverpool stopper Daniel Agger has reiterated his desire to stay at Anfield despite growing rumours linked him with a £20m move to Premier League champions Manchester City.
‘I'd rather stay,’ the 27-year-old told Danish newspaper Politiken.
‘I can't imagine playing for any other club in England but you never know if the club think it's better to sell."
Agger, who has 2 year left in his current contract, joined Liverpool in 2006 for £6million and has since made over 100 appearances for the Reds.
