Fulham vs Blackpool FA Cup Preview

January 05, 2013

Fulham could give their fringe players a game while all eyes will be on Blackpool's stars at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Damien Duff is hoping to be fit and Kerim Frei may be given an opportunity for the Cottagers but the game may come too soon for Mahamadou Diarra and Mladen Petric.

Martin Jol has a decision to make regarding his goalkeepers as David Stockdale could continue to deputise but Mark Schwarzer is available again after injury.

Blackpool duo Tom Ince and Alex Baptiste will be in the spotlight given that they are reportedly the subject of January transfer interest from Liverpool and Leicester, respectively.

The players would become cup-tied for prospective future employers if they feature on third-round day but both men are included in the squad for the Seasiders.

Michael Appleton is without the services of Nouha Dicko and Wes Thomas who have returned to Wigan and Bournemouth from their respective loan spells.

And defender Ian Evatt (knee) and winger Matt Phillips (toe) both remain on the sidelines through injury.
