ARSENAL midfielder Santi Cazorla wants the club to sign Athletic Bilbao forward Fernando Llorente.
Cazorla, who has been arguably one of the buys of the season has made an immediate impact with the Gunners, and there is reason Llorente could do the same.
Llorente has been on the Gunners’ radar for some time now, and they need a proven out and out forward, with Olivier Giroud taking time to settle.
Moreover, Arsenal have been given a sizeable transfer warchest following their lucrative sponsorship extension deal with Emirates.
Spanish football site fichajes.net reveals that Arsenal could snap up Llorente for as little as £6m, because his current contract runs out next summer.
Llorente has already expressed an interest to move to England, in which he said: “I really like the Premier League and I’ve said on more than one occasion it’s a League that appeals to me.”
Llorente has an impressive record for Bilbao, scoring 42 goals in 80 appearances for the club.
