The father of Inter Milan midfielder Ricky Alvarez has ruled out a return to Argentina.
Alvarez is wanted by River Plate, but his father insists he wants to continue his career in Europe.
"We are proud that a club as important as River is interested," said Carlos Alvarez.
"But there is nothing official. In the head of Ricky's is just a desire to continue his career in Europe, he wants to continue playing for experience."
