Arsenal and Tottenham could lose out on transfer target Yann M’Vila to QPR, who are reportedly weighing up a £7.5million bid for the French midfielder.
The Rennes player has emerged as a potential signing for the west London club who are also thought to be targeting a number of high-profile players, with manager Harry Redknapp looking to bolster his squad in the January transfer window.
Spurs missed out on M’Vila in the summer after having a reported £15million offer rejected and Arsenal were thought to be closely monitoring the 22-year-old.
But QPR, who are currently embroiled in a relegation battle, could pip both teams to the highly-rated defensive midfielder.
Redknapp is also reportedly keen on a move for former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka, who is expected to leave Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua soon.
But he faces stiff competition for the 33-year-old French man who is also wanted by fellow London club West Ham, according to reports.
