Marco Materazzi spoke out against Rafa Benítez once more following Chelsea's defeat against Corinthians in the Club World Cup.
The Italian tweeted the following: "I told you, when we won the Club World Cup with Inter, we did it without a coach."
The former Inter Milan player continues his harsh criticism of the Spanish coach, with whom he has never had a good relationship.
In an interview given to 'Sport Mediaset' in November he commented on his spell at Inter, admitting: "When Mourinho told me he was leaving, I said: 'Damn it, you're leaving me with Benítez'."
For his part, Chelsea's Spanish star Juan Mata regretted "the missed chances" his team had in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup against Corinthians and thought it was "a shame" to have lost the title.
In the mixed zone of the Yokohama stadium, the player remarked, "In the end it wasn't to be. Both sides had chances and we did enough to win the game."
