Inter Milan eyeing January moves for trio

December 11, 2012

Inter are determined to add more depth to their squad in the January transfer window, and have earmarked Universidad de Chile defender Igor Lichnovsky, Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia, and Torino striker Rolando Bianchi as the ideal additions.

The signing of an extra attacker is Inter's main priority, and sporting director Marco Branca sees the 29-year-old Bianchi as the perfect back-up for first-choice striker Diego Milito.

Bianchi's contract with Torino is due to expire at the end of the season and the striker seems reluctant to sign a new deal. Therefore, the Granata could opt to cash in on him this winter.

Furthermore, Inter are hopeful of luring the 26-year-old Biglia away from Anderlecht following the Brussels side's European elimination.

The influential midfielder has an ongoing contract with the Belgian champions, but Biglia is thought to have an €8 million buy-out clause.

Finally, the 18-year-old Lichnovsky could be on his way to the Nerazzurri as Branca believes the centre-back has what it takes to succeed at the Serie A giants.

The promising youngster has also caught the attention of Borussia Dortmund, and an offer in the region of €5 million could be needed to lure him away from his current club.
