Juventus to make first move for Liverpool target

November 21, 2012

Liverpool face a fight with Juventus to clinch the signing of Udinese defender Pablo Armero.

Armero has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield as Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen his defence when the transfer window re-opens in January.

But the Liverpool boss will have to act quickly as reports in Italy claim Juventus are also stepping up their interest in the Colombian international.

The Italian giants are ready to offer £8m for the 26-year-old, but Udinese seem determined to get at least £10m for their star defender.
