Spain is the greatest team of all time, says Georgia coach
September 11, 2012
The Georgia coach was speaking before his home game against Spain tomorrow. He plans to make one change from his line-up against Belarus.
In the opinion of Georgia coach, Temur Ketsbaia, "Spain is the best team of all time", although he promised his men would bring the fight to the World and European champions in tomorrow's game in the Boris Paichadze stadium in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi.
"We'll do everything we can to make the game a treat for our fans", said the coach in the press conference before their last training session before tomorrow's clash. Ketsbaia highlighted how important the game is for his players because "the whole world" will be watching, and it's a great stage for the Georgian players. "For us, not losing would be a satisfactory result. It's going to be hard, but we are up for it", he said.
The Georgian coach said that after their 1-0 victory over Belarus last Friday his players are psychologically prepared, and will try to play without an "inferiority complex". He admitted however that "no one can do anything to stop the Spanish style of play".
Ketsbaia revealed in the press conference that the line up for tomorrow's game would be the same as against Belarus, with the exception of Spartak Moscow's Zhano Ananidze, who has a cold. After the first game of the group I, which Spain sat out, France and Georgia are on top with three points respectively whilst Belarus and Finland were on the losing end of their games.
