TEAM NEWS
Valenciennes coach Daniel Sanchez will be without defender Gil for the visit of Paris Saint-Germain due to injury, though otherwise, the team should not differ greatly from the side that drew 1-1 with Nancy on Saturday.
Anthony Le Tallec could be preferred to Vincent Aboubakar up front, with David Ducourtioux likely to be given the nod ahead of Remi Gomis in midfield, as Loris Nery maintains his place on the right flank.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti will be boosted by the return to form of his players, as well as the scoring return of injury absentees Thiago Motta and Kevin Gameiro on Saturday against Evian.
Blaise Matuidi is suspended, with Ancelotti set to continue his faith in Javier Pastore, who shined in the 4-0 win over Pascal Dupraz's men.
