Mauro Zarate's agent has insisted the Lazio forward is likely to stay at the club until his contract expires in 2014.
The Argentine has been linked with a host of clubs over the past few months, including Premier League trio Liverpool, Arsenal and Stoke, as well as Spartak Moscow.
However, his representative doubts whether anyone will be prepared to meet Lazio's valuation and does not expect a January departure.
"Mauro is not going to leave Italy, he will stay at Lazio," said Luis Ruzzi.
"Lazio want nearly €10million for the transfer of Mauro, who is in contract until 2014, and it's not easy to find who wants to buy."
