Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Alexander Meier says he would be willing to stay with the club beyond the end of his current deal.
Meier has attracted attention by netting 10 goals in his 16 appearances so far this season, a tally that sees him top the Bundesliga scoring charts.
But the 29-year-old insists he will be happy to stay at the Commerzbank-Arena in the future, although he hinted that he would like to be offered improved terms.
He said: "I am well able to imagine signing a new deal, but still I feel (executive chairman) Heribert Bruchhagen has to decide that first.
"I am on the same wages as I was eight years ago. But I am absolutely keen to know what Heribert Bruchhagen and (general manager) Bruno Hubner want to offer me next."
