Carles Puyol hopes that Barcelona will be paired with AC Milan in the draw for the Champions League round of 16 in Nyon on December 20.
The Catalans finished ahead of Celtic, Benfica and Spartak Moscow to secure top spot in Group G, and the Spain international has set his sights on a knock-out tie against the San Siro giants.
"We don’t care who our next rival is, but you know that I like to play against Milan because I admire that team," Puyol was quoted as saying on the official Barcelona website.
The experienced defender then urged his team-mates to shift their focus to domestic action again after Wednesday's scoreless draw against Benfica, with the Blaugrana's next match against Betis on Sunday.
Puyol added: "In any event, now we have to focus on La Liga and the Copa del Rey again."
