Barcelona striker David Villa could be set for a six month loan deal to Italian club Juventus, according to reports.
The Spain international has only played a bit-part for the Blaugrana this season following his eight month injury lay-off last term after fracturing his tibia at the Club World Championships.
But Sky Sport Italia have claimed that talks between the Catalan club and the Serie A champions have begun with the Camp Nou side paying a portion of his wages.
Antonio Conte's team have been linked with a number of strikers over the past few months, with Athletic Bilbao forward Fernando Llorente being the number one target.
Villa is seen as the latest target however, but one stumbling block to the deal may be the fact that the 31-year-old is unable to play for another club in the Champions League.
