AC Milan consider loan bid for PSG star Javier Pastore

December 19, 2012

AC Milan are considering to make a loan move for PSG star playmaker Javier Pastore, 23.

Pastore signed for Le Parisien from Serie A outfit Palermo for 45 million euros in 2011. The 23-year-old impressed in his debut season in France, but has been struggling to justify his worth alongside big summer signings Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi in the current campaign.

PSG boss Ancelotti has publicly spoken of his frustration with the playmaker's performances. And despite having shown some encouraging signs recently, Pastore still finds Menez, Lavezzi ahead of him in peeking order.

Pastore, however, is considered by PSG hierarchy as a big part of the club's future and will be reluctant to sell the Argentina international. A loan move back to Italy could be in their best interests and Pastore himself declares he will play for AC Milan sooner or later.

AC Milan, meanwhile, are expecting to lose yet another star duo as the club's Vice-President Galliani was reported to fly to Brazil to discuss deals for Robinho and Pato.

Robinho, 28, is heading back to Santos after spending a 8-year spell in Europe while Pato is unhappy with the limited first team football due to the emergence of El Shaawary and fears that he could not make Brazil squad participating the 2014 World Cup in his homeland if the situation does not change.

AC Milan have parted with a number of key players in the summer and the supporters will not forgive any sales of stars without reinforcements, especially after a number of poor results in the first weeks of the season. A player of Pastore's profile would be expected to somehow ease the fans' frustrations.
