Pep Guardiola is currently still in New York, as the former Barcelona manager weighs up the possibilities for his next managerial job next season. Meanwhile, the Spaniard has been keeping himself busy with different activities. Around two months ago, he spoke at a conference in Mexico about the methods he used at Barcelona, which led the team to success during his reign.
The former Barça coach was invited to the conference by the Fundación Telmex. Famous figures, such as the former President of Brazil - Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva – and former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair – also participated. The conference visit paid extremely well, as Guardiola earned €250,000 - an amount that may have been donated to charity - for a one-hour talk.
Guardiola's free time seems to be coming to an end. He will have to start thinking about his future when the New Year begins, even though he is not expected to return to the dugout until next season. However, the coach may begin preparations – with regard to the new squad and player transfers - once he has an idea where he will be heading.
