Jean Pierre Papin has taken the time to praise Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the wake of his impressive start to life in Ligue 1 and his stunning display for Sweden against England on Wednesday evening.
Ibrahimovic scored all four of Sweden's goals in their 4-2 friendly win over England, with his fourth strike in particular catching the attention of football fans all over the world as he found the net with a superb overhead kick from outside the area.
"He’s a great player. He’s won titles with every club he’s played for, and that’s something that needs to be taken into consideration. He’s very talented and very efficient," the former France international told the official Ligue 1 website.
"You can’t get the ball off him when he has his back to goal. He’s got it all, he’s capable of going past players, he’s not lightning quick but he’s very powerful and gives the impression he’s fast.
"I’d say his only slight weakness is his heading because he should be better in the air given his size. But I’m picking holes to be honest. He’s a fine player and should do really well at PSG."
Ibrahimovic has scored 10 goals in as many Ligue 1 appearances this term.
