Chelsea are reportedly favourites to sign Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony, who has been labelled the 'new Didier Drogba'.
The 23-year-old has scored an impressive 20 goals in 36 appearances for the Dutch side and is being tracked by a number of top European teams.
Blues coach Roberto Di Matteo is looking at attacking options in January as Fernado Torres and Daniel Sturridge are the only current senior strikers at the club.
Vitesse defender Tomas Kalas, who is on loan at the Eredivisie club from Chelsea, thinks the powerful striker would be a good addition to the west London side.
'Chelsea need a player like him [Bony] at the moment,' said the 19-year-old Czech player.
'Torres is always moving and works hard, but he is not strong enough to lead the line. 'I'm sorry for Torres, but that's my personal opinion.'
The Ivorian was also reportedly a target of Newcastle in the summer.
