TEAM NEWS

Jurgen Klopp will be relieved to get his side back on the pitch after a week of speculation surrounding the future of certain Borussia Dortmund players ahead of their encounter with Greuther Furth.

Croatian Ivan Perisic made clear his frustration at the lack of first team opportunities at BVB during an international break that also saw star striker Robert Lewandowski once again linked with a move to Manchester United, but the focus is now firmly back on the club's Bundesliga campaign.

On the injury front, die Schwarzgelben saw both Neven Subotic and Marcel Schmelzer withdraw from international duty during the week but the pair were able to train on Wednesday and should be available for Saturday after recovering from a groin strain and bruised foot respectively.

There is more good news for the champions fitness-wise as Jakub 'Kuba' Blaszczykowski came through a 20 minute run out for Poland unscathed, Klopp confirming that the winger is now back in his first team plans after a five-week lay-off.

However Dortmund will be without club captain Sebastian Kehl who misses out for the second week running with a knee problem.

Gruether Furth boss Michael Buskens will be forced into two changes ahead of Saturday after his side were reduced to nine men during their 4-2 defeat at the hands of Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend.

Thomas Kleine and Milorad Pekovic were both dismissed during the Bavarian side’s loss and Edu and Lasse Sobiech could make the step up from the bench to replace them, with Edgar Prib moving to a deeper role in a midfield reshuffle.
