Milan will be without Ignazio Abate for at least the next two weeks after he was diagnosed with a thigh strain.
The full-back limped off during the opening minutes of their 1-1 Champions League draw against Malaga on Tuesday.
He had already felt a twinge in the warm-up, but the Coach opted to risk him for the start anyway and his game lasted only a handful of minutes.
Today the club website released a statement confirming a lesion to the right quadricep muscle and more tests will be performed in 15 days to keep track of the injury.
