Inter are reportedly considering doing a deal with Villarreal for Giuseppe Rossi in January ahead of the 2013-14 campaign.
The Italian international is currently sidelined with injury after recently having a second operation in order to recover from knee ligament damage.
Stories on Monday are claiming that the Nerazzurri are ready to swoop at the start of the New Year, but he won’t physically arrive at Appiano Gentile until the end of the current campaign. Fiorentina have also been paired with the former Manchester United and Parma forward.
