TEAM NEWS
Southampton will be without summer signing Gaston Ramirez until the middle of November after sustaining a badly bruised thigh before the most recent international break.
Frazer Richardson is out for an indefinite period of time after receiving a bad blow to his right leg in the 2-2 draw with Fulham, while Danny Fox is in a race against time to recover from a slight knock. Jack Cork (knee) remains sidelined until the first week of November.
Andre Villas-Boas is expected to welcome Gareth Bale back into the fold after the Welshman was given time off following the birth of his daughter.
Mousa Dembele (hip) is a doubt, but may be risked in the middle, while Emmanuel Adebayor (back) also missed the 1-1 draw with Maribor on Thursday night and is unlikely to feature.
Villas-Boas confirmed Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) is a week or two from a first-team return, but there is no such luck for Younes Kaboul (knee) or Scott Parker (Achilles) who are both set to remain on the treatment table until December.
