Tottenham's play-maker Luka Modric has been reported to arrive in Madrid today to sign his contract as a new Real Madrid player after the two clubs reached an agreement over a transfer fee of €34m (£26.9m) on Sunday night.
Modric, 27, has been heavily linked with a move away from White Hart Lane all summer as the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United both showed interest in the Croatian maestro and finally chooses Real Madrid as his next destination.
The Croatia international joined Tottenham Hotspurs 4 years ago from his native club Dinamo Zagreb for £16.5m after an impressive Euro campaign with his national team.
