Liverpool want to take Tottenham's defensive duo Micheal Dawson and Steven Caulker to Anfield if Agger agrees to join Manchester City this summer.
Danish defender has recently reiterated his commitment to Merseyside club but there are rumours that big-money offer from Etihad side could lure Liverpool's hierarchy to sell one of the club's few consistent performer last season that has led Brendan Rogers to seek for replacements.
Dawson, 28, missed most of last season due to injuries while Caulker had an impressive season under Liverpool's current boss at Swansea on loan.
