Sunderland striker Ji Dong-won has joined German side Augsburg on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old South Korea international was the matchwinner against eventual champions Manchester City 12 months ago but has not featured this season.
Martin O'Neill had admitted a move was on the cards and Ji passed a medical on Tuesday to seal his switch to the struggling Bundesliga side.
He will link up with compatriot Ja-Cheol Koo in Bavaria.
