Málaga's CEO, Vicente Casado, is absolutely certain that the punishment handed out by UEFA (one year out of Europe) will be lifted by TAS "once we prove that we are doing things properly".
"We are disappointed by a decision that I consider to be unjust and which I feel to be mistaken. But worried, no, because we are calm and confident about our compliance", Casado explained.
"They have told us about the ban but they have yet to send us the grounds. That's like being thrown into prison without knowing why. We hope to have received them by mid January", Malaga's CEO continued.
"We can't get ahead of ourselves but we suspect that it's a misinterpretation of our debt with the Treasury. We don't want to elaborate on a hunch as this is a sensitive issue relating to the TAS ruling", Vincente Casado concluded.
