HULL are closing in on £2m Manchester United winger Robbie Brady.
Steve Bruce's bid for the 20-year-old has been accepted by his old club.
The Republic of Ireland international has been on loan since November but he was also at Hull last season.
Despite interest from Sunderland and Watford, he looks set to make his switch permanent.
He had been hoping to force his way into contention at United this season, but has managed just four minutes against Newcastle in the Capital One Cup.
His chances were then dented by the arrival of Dutch Under-21 international Alex Buttner.
But Brady's stock has risen this season after he broke the Irish Under-21 scoring record with his seventh goal.
