The New York Post suggests that New York Red Bull are keen on Brazilian midfielder Juninho Pernambucano.
The 37-year old former Lyon and Brazil national team star has been back with homeland club Vasco da Gama since April last year but could be tempted by a move to MLS if the Red Bulls come up with a suitable offer.
The Post reports that ‘the Red Bulls’ pursuit of the venerable Brazilian is very real’ as they prepare to improve on their third-place Eastern Conference finish in 2012.
