Manchester United transfer target Angelo Ogbonna says he does not want to leave Turin for Old Trafford.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson is a keen admirer and is weighing up a January move for the Torino defender.
Ogbonna has been scouted throughout this season and Ferguson's spies have been impressed with the 24-year-old's authority at the back.
With Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic past their peak, United are planning for the future and although the likes of Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones remain the prime candidates to permanently replace the duo when they leave, the club are interested in another defender.
Ogbonna, capped five times by Italy, is on United's radar but he insists his sole focus is Torino.
He told Sky Italia: "I am in Turin - where else should I go?
"My agent has not called me about anything and we all know rumours go on this time of year."
