Highly-rated teenage full-back Lucas Digne has penned a new contract at Lille, keeping him at the club until 2017.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the course of the past 12 months, becoming an established member of the first-team squad.
His rapid progress has drawn admiring glances from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea,Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Fiorentina - with all of those clubs having sent scouts to watch the youngster in action.
Digne is, however, in no hurry to make a move elsewhere, with it his ambition to continue impressing for Lille and earn senior international recognition.
He told L'Equipe: "I feel happy at Lille.
"Which shirt makes me dream? Only the French shirt makes me dream."
Lille coach Rudi Garcia is delighted to see Digne commit himself to the club, and has rubbished rumours suggesting he could make a move for Paris St Germain striker Kevin Gameiro in January.
On Digne, he said: "His biggest strength is his maturity at such a young age, which reminds me of Eden Hazard. He is a boy with no fear.
"The most important thing at Lille is economic stability, as it is at any club. If the club has to sell, we will resign ourselves to losing a player with a high value.
"Lucas is not alone in that position. There is no trouble there."
On Gameiro, he added: "I don't think it would be possible on an economic level.
"I can't see how we could get a player that would cost so much money."
