Juventus have emerged as candidates to land David Villa if he decides to exit Barcelona.
The Spain international's future has been called into question recently after Tito Vilanova left him out of two successive La Liga matches.
Villa, 31, broke his tibia this time last year and missed Euro 2012 and, although he has recovered his fitness, he has not featured as prominently as he would have liked.
Numerous clubs have been tracking his situation and the likes of Manchester City have been credited with an interest in the past.
Vilanova was full of praise for Villa following the former Valencia player's performance in Barcelona's Copa del Rey win over Cordoba on Wednesday but rumours about Villa's future remain.
Juventus have now registered an interest in him and will be at the front of the queue should the Barca star's situation develop further.
