Galatasaray beat Sivasspor 3-1 on Saturday to remain top of the Turkish Süper Lig.
After the match, coach Faith Terim revealed in his post-match press conference that he wanted to sign out of favour Real Madrid midfielder Kaká in the January transfer window.
He said: "The president asked me if I wanted to sign Diego Ribas or Wesley Sneijder. I told him I didn't want either of them, I want Kaká."
President Ünal Aysal then spoke to the media on Sunday, declaring: "My colleague and I will work as hard as possible to grant our coach his wishes. Terim has told me he needs to sign a player in January, and therefore we will do that, because Terim is very important for us and we want him to be happy. Now we just need the club to decide whether or not they want to sell the player."
