Vicente Del Bosque has wasted little time in responding to José Mourinho, following the Real Madrid coach's hints a few days ago that being a national team manager leaves you with free time aplenty. "I work every day. If you want, come to the Spanish FA at 9:30 in the morning and you can see for yourself", he told Spanish radio channel 'COPE'.
Del Bosque's rejoinder came in the aftermath of Mou's press conference ahead of the derby against Atlético, in which the under-fire Real Madrid manager stated that he is too busy to ponder over who deserves the 2012 FIFA Coach of the Year Award.
"That's a good question to ask Guardiola and Del Bosque. Guardiola is on holiday and has a lot of time to think. Del Bosque is off for the next three months, he doesn't have a match until February, whereas I have three this weekend. I don't have time to think about that", were the Portuguese coach's exact words.
However, the Spain boss did not seek to fan the flames, simply claiming that "I can't judge what he said", before continuing: "I stay on top of everything. People can take it however they want, but when I heard Mourinho's words, I could only smile, because it's a fact that we're not in action again until February".
