DARREN FLETCHER believes Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Cluj is another chance for the youngsters to shine.
United have already qualified for the knockout stage as group winners.
And ahead of the crucial Manchester derby on Sunday, manager Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to field a young side on Wednesday night.
Midfielder Fletcher was impressed by players such as Nick Powell, 18, who made his European debut against Galatasaray last month when United lost 1-0.
Fletcher, 28, said: “I thought we were unfortunate to lose that match. We played a couple of young players and put in a good performance.
“It will have been massive for Nick Powell’s development.
“Nick is a fantastic player already. He is still relatively young but he is going to be a huge player for United. There is no doubt about that.”
