Radamel Falcao has caused concern at Atletico Madrid by missing Thursday’s training with a suspected muscle strain.
The Colombian forward, who scored five times for the capital club in their last League outing, was left out of the team to play Getafe on Wednesday night.
Subsequently missing today’s main workout following on from the Copa del Rey first leg Last 16 game, reports suggest that the player is carrying an injury and may now be a doubt for Sunday’s trip to the Camp Nou.
It is reported that the 26-year-old is suffering with a muscle strain and that he trained apart from his teammates today on a reduced workout.
Diego Simeone is almost certainly without Adrian Lopez for the game too, after the forward sprained his ankle early on against Getafe last night.
