Arsene Wenger targets another teenager

December 04, 2012

ARSENAL want to maintain their long-standing tradition of buying young players this January by making a move for teenage sensation Vajebah Sakor.

Although Liverpool and Manchester City are keeping tabs on Sakor’s, Arsenal’s scouts were the first to sit up and take notice of the 16-year-old midfielder.

It would represent a dream move for the youngster, who is currently playing for Asker in Norway’s second division.

Asker admit Sakor could leave the club soon although have yet to receive an official offer for him.

The club’s sporting director, Espen Falck, told Norweigan TV channel’s TV2: “We know that there is a lot of interest in Vajebah but we are yet to receive a concrete offer from abroad.

“We know he is wanted by a lot of clubs in Europe.

“Any interested clubs will have to move fast as he is set to leave us soon.”

Sakor made his debut for Asker when he was 15, becoming the youngest player to turn out in the Norweigan second tier.
