PSG has spoken about the reports regarding the club's interest in signing José Mourinho for next season. Sources close to the club's president, Nasser Al Khelaifi, have informed that "no approach has been made for the manager of Real Madrid".
The reality is that the club isn't going to say anything regarding its coach's future whilst the season is still in play, especially after the team's recent results.
PSG, which has just been knocked out of the French League Cup and has lost the top spot in the league to Olympique de Lyon, is aware that any talk about Mourinho joining the club would only destabilise the team, and specially Carlo Ancelotti.
However, the Italian coach knows full well that if he doesn't bring home a title this season after investing €250m in the team, his future would not be at the Parque des Princes. Therefore, any talk of Mourinho will have to wait until the end of the season. In France they suspect that the deal offered to the Portuguese manager would be impossible to turn down.
