Real Madrid's Khedira back in training

October 21, 2012

Real Madrid have started their preparations for Wednesday's Champions League clash away to Borussia Dortmund. After yesterday's win against Celta, José Mourinho had the whole squad at his disposal with the exception of the three injured defenders Arbeloa, Coentrao and Marcelo.

Sami Khedira, who didn't train in the last session before the Liga match and wasn't on his coach's list against the Galicians, returned to join the rest of his teammates.

The Madrid players split up into three groups for the session. The first was made up of Casillas, Ramos, Pepe, Varane, Essien, Xabi Alonso, Modric, Khedira, Özil, Di María, Cristiano Ronaldo and Higuaín; they did stretching and running activities under the supervision of Rui Faria.

Adán and Jesus did specific work with goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro, while the rest of the squad players made up the last group.
