Stamford Bridge side keen to complete deal to snap up Spanish international.
Spanish source Sport.es claims that Sergio Ramos has asked to leave Real Madrid. The talented defender has had a few run-ins with Bernabeu boss Jose Mourinho and will push to leave at the earliest opportunity.
This source states that Chelsea are ready to make a €50m (£39m) January bid for the former Sevilla man, a fee that Real Madrid may feel is a fair price for the 26 year old.
The adaptable 26 year old defender, who can play at full-back and in the centre of defence, may be tempted by a move to the West London club if things do not improve.
