The interest in Dempsey is thought to be high as AS Roma is the latest club joining the chase for the 29-year-old's signature. Roma's general manager, Franco Baldini, who has been in good relationship with Fulham's board since his time serving as England's assistant manager, hopes he could persuade Premier League to sell their biggest asset.
Clint Dempsey has only 1 year in his current contract with the Cottagers.
