Danish goalkeeper Andres Lindergaard agreed to extend his days at Old Trafford for 4 more years.
Presenting to the press along with Sir Alex Ferguson after putting pen to the contract paper, the 28-year-old showed his delight at the club's and the manager's confidence in his ability: "I'm very pleased to have signed a new contract," added Lindegaard. "I'm glad and proud that the manager has shown the confidence he has in me by giving me a new deal."
Lindergaard will compete with Spaniard David De Gea for the starting spot in the next season.
