A leading football finance expert claims Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, are readying a sale of the club.
David
Bick, chairman of Square1 Consulting, believes the owners forthcoming
IPO is simply the first stage in the sale of the club.
United's owners, the Glazer family, will make 10% of shares available on
the New York Stock Exchange next Friday and should raise at least $300
million as the club's owners plan to use some of the proceeds to repay around £75 million of their debts, which currently stand at £437 million.
